Click here to check out Neil Gaiman's bookshelves at shelfari. I am overwhelmed with envy and admiration. I wouldn't dare put my books in the basement for fear of the damp, but I want just such a library somewhere in my house!
What a wonderful sight! I wish I had somewhere to store all my books and I haven't got anywhere near that number. I'd love a library in the house. We're looking for somewhere to live and finding somewhere with enough space for us and our books is just so difficult!
I blogged about this too!!!! I've been in love with Neil Gaiman for a decade. Unrequited, of course.
Kate, I can't remeber-- did I already contact you about listing your blog in our book review directory? It's been a crazy week. I didn't see that I added "Kate's Book Blog" to my list, so I wanted to make sure.
I hope they do a lot of these -- I'm so nosy about how other people store their books, and what they read too, of course. In fact, this is one of the main reasons why I love book blogs. That, and the smart people who write them, like you.
My second collection of short stories, All In Together Girls, is now available in Canada, the U.S., the UK, and most other places where English language books are sold. You can buy it at your local bookstore, or order it from online retailers such as McNally Robinson, Amazon, Chapters/Indigo, Powell's, or The Book Depository. You can also borrow it from a number of public and university libraries in Canada and the U.S. Check with your local library to see if they have it, and please encourage them to buy it if they don't!

That is just awesome!
Wow! This looks like a way more fun place to be stranded than on a desert island!
All I can say is "Wow!".
I want one!!!

That is so awesome! I wish I had one like that, which would be so much more organized than the current mess that inhabits my room.
And I thought my library was huge. WOW!
