My Author Website

I've been neglecting my blog shamefully of late while working to build myself an author website. But it's mission accomplished now, I think. You'll find the website here. Please let me know what you think of it. I promise that with that done, several new blog posts are on the way...

I like the website very much -- I'm very curious about the nonfiction book you're working on. It sounds great.

I like it too -- simple and clean and all the information is easy to find.

You are probably tired of people asking you the same thing, but have you heard of a book entitled "Summer Reading" that was just published? I heard the review on NPR but it wasn't enough to wet my curiousity.

Lovely website, by the way!

Your website looks great. Authors really do have to have them these days, don't they? I find that I search for websites when I find a book I like.

The website looks great. I pre-ordered your book from AMazon, by the way.

Thanks everyone, for your kind comments! I would never have dared build my own website had I not learned a bit of rudimentary html through blogging. Just one more way that blogging has enriched my life!

JCR,
I hadn't heard about the new Summer Reading until you mentioned it. It doesn't look like my sort of thing either, though I remain very fond of the title!

Danielle,
I think you're right that a website is a must for an author these days. The trick, I think, is to keep it interesting with new content rather than just leaving it up there as a static source of information. I'm going to do my best!

Lucette,
I'm so pleased that you've pre-ordered my book. It's exciting (and a little scary!) to think of the very discerning readers that I've encountered in the blogosphere turning their attention to my book! I hope that you like it.
