Anything by Neil Gaiman read by himself is also great. I just finished Jumpha Lahiri's The Namesake on audiobook - beautiful book, beautifully read.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13774780.post-64188402845548699002008-10-21T11:52:00.000-04:002008-10-21T11:52:00.000-04:00Thanks for "The Dubliners" recommendation... will ...Thanks for "The Dubliners" recommendation... will definitely pick it up! :-)
JCRKagemushahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03985000233636586296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13774780.post-75298698021470110512008-10-13T00:42:00.000-04:002008-10-13T00:42:00.000-04:00I thoroughly enjoyed Joyce's Portrait of the Artis...I thoroughly enjoyed Joyce's Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man read by Donal Donnelly.

I've meant to try some Pratchett, but he's written so much that I don't know where to start! I'm very intrigued about the Goose Girl audio version that you mentioned. I love audio books and think them the ultimate comfort when I'm tired. I just wanted to say that Meg Rosoff's How I Live Now was one of the best books of the year a little while back - I thought it was stunning. And I've often wondered whether I could get over James Joyce block by listening to Ulysses on tape or CD. It might make for quite an experience.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
